Problem
Brad and Megan Bean started Bean Co Homes seven years ago, and in that time they built nearly a hundred homes and a reputation that spread almost entirely by word of mouth. Their clients consistently described an experience built on honesty, guidance, and genuine care. As the company grew, Brad and Megan saw an opportunity for the brand to catch up to the business they had built. They wanted a name, identity, and website that could communicate what their clients already knew, so that people discovering Bean Co for the first time could understand what makes building with them different.
Solution
Mallard Agency led a full brand transformation for Bean Co. We started with discovery and conversations with past clients, which pointed to a clear position: the most trusted guide in home building. From there we refined the name to Bean & Co Homes, putting the team behind the "and" front and center, and built a warm, timeless brand identity around a custom mark. We produced 100 Homes Later, a brand film following Whit and Deb Johnson, the company's very first clients, as they return to build the company's 100th home. Finally, we brought all of the work together on a new website designed to guide prospects the way Brad and Megan guide their clients.
Result
Bean & Co Homes launched with a brand that finally says what their clients have been saying for years. Prospects can now get to know the people they would be building with before the first conversation, and the story of the first and hundredth home gives the team a proof point few builders will ever have. With a 12 month marketing strategy in place, Bean & Co. is ready to carry that story into their next hundred homes.
