So Sean left. He went to work inside small businesses, closer to the founders, closer to the mission. But a different problem emerged. The creative work suffered. Small businesses rarely had the resources or the vision to invest in brand building the way it deserved.
He found himself caught between two worlds: the high caliber creative of big agencies and the genuine relationships of small business. Neither one alone was enough.
